When wanderlust hits me and multi-day tours are unfeasible, I set off for local adventures. I aim to discover new roads, new campgrounds, parts of Vermont and Canada I've been meaning to get to. Once Amtrak extended the Ethan Allen Express route to Burlington, one-way and round-trip travel meant I could easily head further south.
