Because I Can

It's winter, he says, give it up.


I say, why?


A warming trend piggybacks a cold front. It's not slippery. Nor do I need studded tires.


Just one more ride.


Wash off the salt.
Wipe it down.
Re oil.


Ride again.


Just because I can.
