I have this fantasy that in retirement I will travel around the U.S. and pedal rail trails. My mission could be two-fold: enjoy magnificent scenery and provide oil and assistance to others.
My husband envisions manning a trailside stand-up pump. He could be happy, socializing and tending to folks who require a tire top-off.
Trailside air and oil. A simple, easy way to give back to the cycling community.
Similar dreams here. I often talk about living or having a small business along a rail-to-trail and providing simple bike fixes, shuttle service and beer. Yet I don't want to be tied to one place.
ReplyDeleteI here you. Freedom is what retirement's all about!
DeleteI think this would work really well with coffee for sale too, as well as basic adjustments to the bike. A great idea, would be good on our Fernleigh Track. Vicki
ReplyDeleteI love good coffee, like most bike riders, but our idea was to set up on whim for an hour or two, so I don't suppose serving coffee would work well. Of, course, I would bring a thermos for ourselves...
