When I'm feeling down or not quite myself, I head to the lake. I look left...
...and right. I ponder the vast water, the islands, and mountains. A ferry enters the harbor.
Canadian geese on their southward journey.
I coast from the bluff to the waterfront path. I love the vastness of all that space around me. Farther south, the Earth Clock casts magnificent shadows.
Other pedalers are out for an early ride.
I reflected some more - what I call my "lake effect".
Year-round, this is my solace.
